Bare Elements began with one small jar of deodorant and one big question: why does looking after yourself have to come wrapped in plastic?

It started with deodorant
Bare Elements began with a simple, natural deodorant, made for everyday use because nothing on the shelf felt right. It was shared with neighbors and with regulars at a little shop in Sharon, PA, and people kept asking for more.
- The turning point
A box full of plastic
The first bulk order of containers arrived, and every one of them was plastic. That box changed everything. Personal care is wrapped in plastic from start to finish, and Bare Elements set out to be part of the answer instead. The containers changed, then the labels, then the shipping. The plastic-free mission was born.
- Valentine's Day 2019
On a real shelf
The first products went on sale at AEtheric Alchemy / The Emerald Tablet in Sharon, PA. Customers came back for more, and an Etsy shop soon followed.
- Since then
Growing, gently
More products, a registered LLC and a trademarked name. Bare Elements is still grassroots and still small-batch, and it hopes one day to give back to the causes it cares about most.
